On 11 November, the European Commission gave the go-ahead to the acquisition of joint control over CPG International of the US by Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP) of Canada and Ares Management LLC of the US. CPG is currently solely controlled by Ares. CPG manufactures and sells engineered building products in the US, Canada and the European Economic Area (EEA).
