Brussels, 01/10/2013 (Agence Europe) - The shortlist of projects for the Enterprise Promotion Awards 2013 Prize has been published and the prize-giving ceremony will take place in Vilnius on 25 November at the Small Business conference.
On 30 September, the European Commission unveiled the shortlist of projects for the Enterprise Promotion Awards 2013. Along with an entrepreneurship prize, this year there will also be awards for investing in skills, for improving the corporate environment, supporting internationalisation and socially responsible enterprise (a new category to promote green markets and the efficient use of resources). One project will win the prestigious Grand Jury Prize.
Of several hundred candidates, nineteen projects have been shortlisted, divided into six categories. The shortlisted projects came from Belgium (2 projects), Cyprus, Denmark (2 projects), Finland, France, Ireland (2 projects), Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Serbia (2 projects), Slovakia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
