Brussels, 12/09/2013 (Agence Europe) - For the past few months, the European Commission has been receiving details from Ireland, the Netherlands and Luxembourg about tax incentives granted by these countries to multinationals. The Commission is examining the agreements to see whether they constitute illegal state aid by giving the companies unfair advantages over their competitors, thus distorting competition.
