French Economy Minister Pierre Moscovici said at a summer school, Rencontres Economiques d'Aix-en-Provence organised by Cercle Français des Economistes that, in order to give the eurozone much more visibility, the finance minister who chairs Eurogroup should also be the EU Economic Affairs Commissioner because merging the two jobs would create strong synergy.
