Strasbourg, 05/07/2013 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament is calling on the European Commission to plan action should Norway not back down on its higher duties on cheeses and meats.
In a resolution adopted in plenary on 4 July, the Parliament denounces Oslo's protectionist move in raising its import taxes as part of the change to its tax system in 2013. The rise hampers European exports of cheese and lamb.
