Loan for water sector on Austro-Hungarian border

Brussels, 12/06/2013 (Agence Europe) - On 12 June, the European Investment Bank (EIB) granted a loan of €39 million to Wasserleitungsverbank Noerdliches Burgenland for the installation of a trans-boundary water supply system that will link the systems between the water associations of the northern and central part of Burgenland (Austria) and of Sopron (Hungary). The project aims to improve the water infrastructure in the dynamic Pannonian Basin around Lake Neusiedl (Austria and Hungary)....
