EIB increases support to high-speed train project in Poland

Brussels, 22/05/2013 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) decided last week to increase the level of its loan in support of the Pendolino rail project of PKP Intercity, which currently stands at €224 million, to €342 million. The project financed consists of acquiring 20 new high-speed trains and the construction of a related maintenance depot in Warsaw.
