Brussels, 13/03/2013 (Agence Europe) - The economic crisis is helping the illegal drugs market in the EU according to a new study from the European Commission published on Wednesday 13 March. “More young people are expected to sell or even produce drugs - especially home grown cannabis - to make money. But the economic crisis is also expected to lead to cuts in budgets devoted to drug policy, in particular for treatment and harm reduction measures”, the study states.
