EU prepares for tripartite meetings with Ukraine and Russia

Brussels, 05/03/2013 (Agence Europe) - The Commission is preparing to join talks between Kiev and Moscow on reviewing the price of Russian gas supplied to Ukraine.

“We have proposed a scheme according to which the negotiations will become trilateral and the European Union will join them”, Energy Commissioner Günther Oettinger said in an interview with the Ukrainian daily, Kommersant, published last weekend.
