On 20 February, Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Füle said that “the Dialogue on Modernisation is a very good example showing that civil society is ready to make an important contribution to the country's modernisation. I hope that Belarusian authorities will notice this readiness and will consider their own input into this Dialogue”. Füle was speaking after his meeting with eight representatives from Belarusian civil society, coordinators of the European Dialogue on the modernisation of Belarusian society. Füle added that this Dialogue is “an important tool for the preparation of necessary reforms and modernisation plans of the country”. (CG/transl.fl)
