Brussels, 11/02/2013 (Agence Europe) - Last Friday, the European Investment Bank (EIB) granted a loan of €450 million to finance the windfarm at Butendiek, currently one of the largest offshore wind farm projects ever built in the German part of the North Sea. With its 80 wind turbines, the Butendiek will develop a total output of 288 MW. The investment required for this highly ambitious project will total €1.4 billion.
