01/02/2013 (Agence Europe) - Creation of PAG Italy. On 1 February 2013, the European Commission gave the go-ahead for the creation of an Italian joint venture, PAG Italy S.r.L., by Japanese trader Mitsui and US car sales company Penske Automotive Group Inc. (PAG), active in the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany. PAG Italy owns BMW showrooms in Italy. The deal was examined using the simplified merger control procedure. (FG/transl.fl)
