Brussels, 22/01/2013 (Agence Europe) - While xenophobic incidents and incitement to hatred in Europe increase, on a par with the many anti-Roma declarations made by certain countries such as Romania, the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU and its minister of justice, Alan Shatter, called on member states, in Dublin on 18 January, to draw up a balance sheet of the fundamental rights situation in their own countries.
