The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the International Renewable Energy Association (IRENA) have launched a joint study to promote renewable energy manufacturing in the Mediterranean region. The announcement was made by the EIB on 18 January. The aim of this cooperation is to assess the region's ability to attract foreign investment for developing local renewable energy industries.
