Brussels, 18/12/2012 (Agence Europe) - The European Data Protection Controller (EDPC) has revised the work of data protection delegates (DPD) in the European institutions and found a number of shortcomings. The DPD are supposed to remain in their jobs for at least two years, but the EDPC says that there is a huge rotation of staff and terms of office are often shorter than two years.
