European businesses put house in order. According to a study by Transparency International, the regulatory authorities are toughening their stance when it comes to corruption in European industry. According to the categorisation of the NGO, the company Statoil has taken the most anti-corruption measures, with an index of 8.3 on a scale from 0 (highly corrupt) to 10 (maximum transparency).
