Lithuania offers support to enhanced cooperation on divorce

Brussels, 26/11/2012 (Agence Europe) - According to a Commission press release on 21 November, Lithuania has become the 15th EU member state to sign up to enhanced cooperation on divorce (Rome III Regulation) to help international couples to select which country's law would apply to their divorce and legal separation. Enhanced cooperation on divorce was adopted by the Council in July 2010. Fourteen countries have given their support to this enhanced cooperation: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria,...
