Brussels, 07/11/2012 (Agence Europe) - Planting rights are an instrument to regulate production potential which costs the European taxpayer nothing, contributes to a process of sustainable development and has a real social dimension: this is the declaration adopted in Brussels on Wednesday 7 November by the presidents of the wine-producing regions of Europe on planting rights, which are set to disappear in 2016 unless new legislation is passed.
