On Monday 8 October, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control by on the one side CVCIGP II Employee Rosehill Limited and CVCIGP II Client Rosehill Limited (Mauritius) and on the other side Cox & Kings (“CNK”, India) over Holidaybreak (UK). CVCIGP II Employee Rosehill Limited and CVCIGP II Client Rosehill Limited are investment companies whose capital is owned by a number of investment firms belonging to Citigroup. Cox & Kings is a travel agent operating in 20 countries throughout the world, which currently owns all the social capital issued by Holidaybreak.
