Brussels, 26/07/2012 (Agence Europe) - British sports betting company Stanleybet has lodged a complaint with the European Commission against Italy, alleging, once again, breach of EU law. Stanleybet says in a press release that the Court of Justice of the EU, in the Gambelli and Placanica cases, had already noted that a number of Italian provisions were illegal, including the tenders for delivery of operators' licences.
