Ashton in Egypt to repeat EU support for transition

Brussels, 18/07/2012 (Agence Europe) - EU High Representative Catherine Ashton will travel to Egypt on Thursday 19 July to restate the EU's support for democratic transition in the country and to discuss recent political developments. “The EU will continue to do all it can to support the peaceful and orderly transition to a civilian and democratic government in Egypt”, Ashton said before leaving.
