Brussels, 02/07/2012 (Agence Europe) - Unemployment hit a record high of 11.1% in the eurozone in May 2012, compared with 11% in April. This is the thirteenth month in a row in which unemployment has stood at 10% or higher. According to estimates published by Eurostat on Monday 2 July, 17.561 million people were registered unemployed in the eurozone in May, some 88.000 higher than in April.
