The net result of the absence of a European energy policy is that the member states each act and reflect on their own behalf and pursue national objectives. After the overview and general considerations on the situation (see this section in EUROPE 10614), here are a few concrete examples of the effects of this cacophony, which I drew up with the help of Community or national civil servants and others active in this area.
