Brussels, 23/02/2012 (Agence Europe) - European Socialists see the threat of a freeze on part of the cohesion funding allocated to Hungary as the consequence of provocation by the Orban government and one that could be harmful to Hungarian citizens. MEP Lambert van Nistelrooij (EPP, Netherlands) has expressed his relief that, for the moment at least, “the money has not yet been removed” and no project which is underway will be affected.
