Brussels, 09/02/2012 (Agence Europe) - With the European Parliament (EP) due to vote on the draft EU-Morocco trade liberalisation agreement on 16 February, COPA-COGECA (agricultural unions and cooperatives in the EU) urged MEPs on Wednesday 8 February to “properly assess the socio-economic impact of the deal”, warning it will have “a disastrous impact on the EU fruit and vegetables sector, especially tomatoes”.
