24/01/2012 (Agence Europe) - Elmar Brok (EPP, Germany) has been elected to chair the foreign affairs committee at the European Parliament. After his election on Monday 23 January, being the only candidate running for the post, Brok will succeed Gabriele Albertini (EPP, Italy).
