Brussels, 19/12/2011 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission announced on Friday 16 December that it was adding the names of five agricultural and food products to the list of protected designations of origin (PDO) and protected geographical indications (PGI). These are, from Italy, olive oils “Terre Aurunche” (PDO) and “Seggiano” (PDO) and cherries “Ciliegia dell'Etna” (PDO), from Slovenia, the onion “Ptujski Lük” (PGI) and, from Hungary, the beef “Magyar szürkemarha...
