Brussels, 03/10/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 3 October, the European Commission published the annual report 2010 of the European Union on human rights and democracy in the world. Although the report notes improvements in certain fields or countries, it also stresses an increase in repressive legislation against lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people, particularly in certain African countries, and the attention given to issues of freedom of religion and belief.
