21/09/2011 (Agence Europe) - Mergers: CIE/ acquisition of Nordic Cable Acquisition Company Sub-Holding AB. On Wednesday 21 September, the European Commission granted clearance to the proposed acquisition of Nordic Cable Acquisition Company Sub-Holding AB (COM HEM) of Sweden by CIE Management IX Limited (CIE) of Guernsey, which is ultimately controlled by the UK's BC Partners Holdings Limited (BC Partner Holdings). COM HEM provides television services, broadband internet access services and telephony services in Sweden. CIE and BC Partners Holdings manage private equity funds.
