Google believed to be subject of five further formal complaints

Brussels, 03/08/2011 (Agence Europe) - According to the news agency Reuters, the European Commission is currently believed to be investigating a total of nine complaints regarding abuse of dominant position against the American search engine Google. The search engine is believed to be suspected of, amongst other things, intervening in its ranking algorithm to favour its own services and those of its partners, at the expense of the competition.
