On Thursday 28 July, the EU Council of Minsters adopted a decision extending the term of office of Fernando Gentilini, EU Special Representative in Kosovo, until 30 September 2011. Gentilini was appointed to the post from 1st May 2011 until 31 July to play a leading role in implementing a settlement defining Kosovo's future status. (L.C./transl.rt)
