21/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - Loan to Cypriot education sector. On Monday 20 June, the European Investment Bank (EIB) provided a loan of €100 million in support of school facilities throughout Cyprus. This loan will be used to fund the building and renovation of nursery, primary and secondary schools throughout the island. A loan of €200 million for improving school facilities had been already agreed for Cyprus in 2003. (O.L./transl.fl)
