Eleven member states declared too lax on TEN-T safety

Brussels, 20/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 19 May, the European Commission sent reasoned opinions to 11 member states (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Luxembourg) calling for appropriate procedures to be set in place for improving the safety of the trans-European road network, in accordance with EU law.
