Brussels, 19/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 19 May, the European Commission issued infringement proceedings (in the form of reasoned opinions - warning letters against 10 member states for failure to fully transpose EU Directive 2010/76/EC on new bank capital requirements and binding measures on bonus payments for managers of lending institutions. Six countries (Spain, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia) have not yet communicated any transposition measures to the Commission....
