06/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 6 May, the European Commission said the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) will be releasing €20.4 million for two projects in Denmark aimed at promoting employment for 1,775 redundant workers. There were 1,356 redundancies in Odense Steel Shipyard and 1,650 workers made redundant by the wind turbine manufacturer, LM Glasfiber, in 2008 and 2009.
