23/03/2011 (Agence Europe) - Regional aid for Solar Factory GmbH authorised. On Wednesday 23 March, the European Commission authorised €18.75 million of regional investment aid for the German company Solar Factory GmbH, a subsidiary of SolarWorld AG, for the production of solar modules in Freiberg (Saxony), Germany. The project involves investment of €75 million. The Commission found the measure to be in line with EU rules and, in particular, with the requirements of the Regional Aid...
