Brussels, 02/03/2011 (Agence Europe) - European Commission Vice-President with responsibility for Industry and Entrepreneurship Antonio Tajani is currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom, from Wednesday 2 March until Thursday 3 March. After a meeting in London with Theresa Villiers, Vince Cable and Mark Prisk, members of the UK government, to discuss Galileo, EGNOS and SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) policy, he will travel to Coventry on Thursday for meetings which will focus on SMEs. On Thursday evening, he will be in Paris to deliver a speech at the OECD, take part in the UNESCO Awards 2011 and meet the MEDEF presidency. Then on Friday 4 March, he will hold discussions with French minister Eric Besson on SME policy and will travel to the European Space Agency (ESA) for talks on Galileo and EGNOS. (Gp/transl.rt)
