23/12/2010 (Agence Europe) - In a letter sent to the capitals of the EU on Tuesday 21 December, the High Representative of the EU re-proposes the Frenchwoman Claude-France Arnould in the post of executive director of the European Defence Agency (EDA) (EUROPE 10274). The silence procedure, which was chosen to appoint new director, ends on Friday 24 December and there is every chance that it will confirm the appointment of Ms Arnould. (A.By/trans.fl)
