23/12/2010 (Agence Europe) - On 21 December, the Committee of European Banking Supervisors and the European Insurance and Pensions Committee made seven additional joint recommendations on the supervision of financial conglomerates. These recommendations stipulate the setting up of a specific platform to enable the supervisors involved in this initiative to tackle issues linked to the supervision of financial undertakings governed by Directive 2002/87/EC.
