05/11/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 4 November, the European Commission authorised a budget support scheme for the Dominican Republic to the tune of €61 million to help the government achieve its growth and poverty reduction objectives by contributing to the national development strategy in terms of policies for the poor, sustainable economic growth, good governance and developing human resources through healthcare and education.
