Loan for upgrading municipal infrastructure in Poland

Brussels, 02/11/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 29 October, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced it intended to lend PLN 250 million (approx €61 million) to finance the upgrading of infrastructure in the areas of water and culture in the city of D¹browa Górnicza in Southern Poland.

In the water sector the EIB loan will contribute to the reduction of the pollution originating from some 120,000 inhabitants residing in D¹browa Górnicza in line with the Polish regulations based...
