Brussels, 04/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - On 30 September, the European Commission unveiled two items of draft legislation to adjust both direct aid for farmers and also rural development measures to the Lisbon Treaty (co-decision). Later this year, the Commission will unveil two further proposals of this type to adjust to the new Treaty the measures covering the single common organisation of the market (CMO) and the funding of the common agricultural policy (CAP).
