Legislative proposal on migration of some financial products to SEPA products is hoped for mid-October

Brussels, 28/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 28 September, the European Commission took stock of preparations that will most likely result, during the second week of October, in adoption of a legislative proposal introducing cut-off dates for the migration of certain national payment products (credit transfers, direct debits) towards financial products that meet the norms of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) project.
