Brussels, 17/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament will be sitting in plenary from Monday 20 to Thursday 24 September in Strasbourg, when it will be addressed by a high-ranking player as the president of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, presents for the first time the outcome of the European Council on strategic partnerships and economic governance. On Wednesday, the EP is expected to endorse draft legislation on financial supervision. Other important subjects on the agenda include trading relations between the EU and Turkey, the EU's relations with China, the multiannual budget, responding to future gas supply crises and the pharmacovigilance package.
