New technologies are essential for improving daily lives of elderly, Kroes says

Brussels, 16/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - In Europe today, there are four people in work for every retired person. By 2025, this ratio will fall to three in work per retired person and, by 2050, there will only be two workers for every retired person.
