02/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has just granted a €200 million loan to the Electricity Authority of Cyprus for reinforcing and extending the electricity transmission and distribution networks throughout the island. The project consists of a four-year investment programme (2010-2013) aimed at meeting growing demand while reducing also transmission and distribution losses. (O.L./transl.rt)
