Brussels, 18/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 18 June, the European Commission approved creation of the joint venture “New Eurostar” by the rail companies, SNCF (France) and London Continental Railways (LCR, of the UK) with the minority participation of the SNCB (Belgium). The operation was authorised subject to commitments taken by the three companies concerning access to time slots, stations and maintenance infrastructure for the new entrants.
