Commission open visa dialogue with Moldova

Brussels, 15/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 15 June, the European Commission opened dialogue with the Republic of Moldova on a visa-free scheme. The aim of the dialogue is to examine the relevant conditions for visa-free travel of Moldovan citizens to the EU as a long-term goal. The talks, which began yesterday in Luxembourg on the occasion of the EU-Republic of Moldova Cooperation Council, will allow the EU and Moldovan authorities to determine the technical conditions to be met...
