Brussels, 19/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - EU Industry Commissioner Antonio Tajani will be unveiling a joint EU strategy on 27 April for electric cars (the initial drafts of which were set out at the Competitiveness Councils of January and March 2010, see EUROPE 10075 and 10089), before the European Commission adopts its overall strategy in the summer for the car industry, followed by a White Paper in November on making transport independent of fossil fuels.
