Brussels, 31/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Union has said it is very happy with the outcome of the joint committee meeting on the fisheries partnership between the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the EU, which was held in Nouakchott on 21-25 March. The fisheries protocol (which was suspended for a time following the 2009 coup d'état) covers the period from 1 August 2008 to 31 July 2012.
